A Blank Canvas, The Branding Challenge

Sylvia McIntosh is a seasoned dressmaker/designer with 40 years of experience in creating handmade garments for special occasions. Specialising in outsizes, she provides a much-needed service for those who struggle to find fitting clothes in regular shops.

Sylvia McIntosh decided it was time for a rebrand to reflect her expertise and the unique services she offers. She needed a new logo, website, marketing materials, and social media assets that would capture the essence of her brand and appeal to her target audience.

A Brand Identity that Resonates

Our goal was to create a comprehensive brand identity that would effectively represent Sylvia McIntosh’s unique services and expertise in the market.

We aimed to design visuals that were not only aesthetically pleasing but also communicated Sylvia’s commitment to providing personalised, high-quality garments.

The Journey: From Concept to Creation

We started with in-depth discussions with Sylvia to understand her vision for the brand. Based on these insights, we created several logo concepts and iterated on them until we had a design that perfectly represented Sylvia McIntosh.

We then developed brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all platforms. With the logo and brand guidelines in place, we designed business cards, branded bags, a website, and social media assets that all reflected the new brand identity.

A unified brand identity

The final designs were elegant, professional and cohesive. The logo effectively represented how Sylvia wanted to be perceived, and the website provided a user friendly platform for potential clients to learn about Sylvia’s services.

The business cards, branded bags, and social media assets further reinforced the brand identity and provided Sylvia with the tools she needed to market her services effectively.

A Thriving New Brand

Sylvia was thrilled with the new brand identity, which has given her the confidence to promote her services more broadly. The cohesive branding across all platforms has helped Sylvia McIntosh present a professional image to potential clients and partners. She now receives daily inquiries through the website, a testament to the effectiveness of the rebranding.
